Guide Tone Records showcases distinctive artists creating fresh, adventurous music rooted in jazz and driven by individual vision
We believe the most compelling music comes from artists with something personal to say. GTR celebrates originality, creative risk-taking, and jazz’s spirit of exploration by introducing listeners to artists and recordings worth discovering.
Guide Tone Records is a curated independent jazz platform that brings distinctive artists and their audiences together. Artists retain full ownership of their music and royalties while managing their own distribution, marketing, and sales. GTR serves as a shared home for independent releases, a community built around discovery, creativity, and new sounds.
